1) What is the “Data Roaming Plan”?
“Data Roaming Plan” is an ALIV service that allows ALIV subscribers the ability to use ALIV’s super-fast data services while in the USA, Canada and Digicel Caribbean (Anguilla, Antigua, Aruba, Barbados, Bermuda, Bonaire, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Curacao, Dominica, El Salvador, French West Indies – ( French Guiana/ Guadeloupe/ French St. Maarten), Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Martinique, Montserrat, Panama, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Suriname, Trinidad, Turks & Caicos.)
2) Who can add a Data Roaming Plan?
Any ALIV customer may purchase the Data Roaming Plan.
3) What is the advantage of using the Data Roaming Plan?
It’s stress-free – it allows you to purchase an allotment of data for use while roaming in the USA, Canada and Digicel Caribbean so that you no longer have to constantly check your wallet balance. It is also cheaper to purchase data roaming plans than to pay as you go by topping up your wallet.
4) What are the Data Roaming Plan options for ALIV Consumer Subscribers?
+ 250MB at $20 VAT inclusive (7 days)
+ 500MB at $30 VAT inclusive (7days)
+ 1GB at $50 VAT inclusive (7days)
5) Can I use the Data Roaming Plan in The Bahamas?
No. The Data Roaming Plan can ONLY be used while roaming in the Countries listed above.
6) Is there an option to add more than one Data Roaming Plan?
Yes. You can purchase up to (3) future dated Data Roaming Plans but they will not come into effect until the existing plan expires.
7) Does the Data Roaming Plan include Talk and Text
No. Aliv’s Data Roaming Plans ONLY include Roaming Data
8) Can I pay by credit card?
Yes. You can pay by debit or credit card.
9) Where can I purchase the Data Roaming Plans?
At any ALIV flagship store, ALIV Reseller location, ALIV Kiosk and the MyAliv App.
10) Will I be notified of my balance at different intervals?
Yes. You will be notified at 75% and 90% usage.
11) What happens when I’ve used all the data allocated in my Data Roaming Plan?
You can purchase another data roaming plan or you can pay for data as you go out of your wallet.
12) Am I able to purchase a Data Roaming Plan without a regular Aliv Combo Plan?
Yes.
