The Aliv wireless home internet kit is a solution that provides fast and reliable internet connectivity to your home or business using wireless technology. It uses a SIM card to access high-speed internet through Aliv cellular service, eliminating the need for cables or wires.

The kit includes: ONE (1) INDOOR WI-FI ROUTER, ONE (1) LTE OUTDOOR FWA DEVICE, One (1) RJ45 ethernet cable (1 meter), a mounting kit. Additional items required for mounting and setup are provided by ALIV.

A $99 deposit is required for all new ALIV wireless broadband accounts. Deposit & installation fees should be charged at the time of contract signing. Speak to an agent to see if you are eligible to have installation fees waived.

Aliv wireless offers two subscription packages:

• Infinite500 Wireless: $99 (VAT inclusive), $89.99 (VAT Excl) with 500GB data.
• Infinite1000 Wireless: $159 (VAT inclusive), $144.49 (VAT Excl) with 1000GB data.

Yes, for the first 12 months, there is an additional $9 equipment fee on top of the subscription cost. From months 13-24, the monthly charge is solely the plan fee.

There are four indicators on the front of your indoor Wi-Fi device – the system light (power icon), the 2.4/5G light (Wi-Fi icon), the internet Light (up/down arrows) and the signal light (strength bars).

 

The system light (power icon) displays power for the device. If this light is orange and blinking, the system is loading. If it shows a solid green light, the system is ready for use. If it is yellow and blinking slowly, this indicates that there is a system error. If the system light is off completely, this means that the device has no power supply.

 

The 2.4/5G light (Wi-Fi icon) indicates the activity on each of the frequencies. The green light blinks when there is activity on the 2.4G frequency and the blue light blinks to indicate activity on the 5G frequency.

 

The internet light (up/down arrows) indicates whether the device has access to the internet.

 

The signal light (strength bars) indicates the strength of the signal from the outdoor device. This does not necessarily indicate that internet is available. For example, the signal can still be strong but if you do not have a plan activated, there will be no internet.

If you forget your Wi-Fi password and username, you can reset them to their default settings and then change the password. Here's how:

 

• With the Wi-Fi unit powered on, press and hold the reset button on the back of the unit for 30 seconds. This will restore the device to its default username and password, which can be found on the back of the device.
• Connect a laptop to the Wi-Fi unit using the yellow port.
• Log in with the default username and password: admin/admin.
• Once logged in, you can change the Wi-Fi password to your preference.

During install, the tech will install and position the indoor Wi-Fi device. Customers should not move around as this may cause wires to the external device to dislodge.

Your monthly bill will include your monthly package subscription fee and an equipment rental fee:

 

Package Price: $99 or $159, depending on your chosen package. Equipment Rental Fee: $9 per month for the first 12 months.

 

If you exceed your data allotment of plan, Infinite500 (500GB per month) or Infinite10000 (1000GB per month), you'll be charged $0.99 per GB .

For both the Infinite500 and Infinite1000 plans, data usage exceeding the 500GB or 1000GB limits will incur a charge of $0.99 per GB. The Infinite500 plan has a credit limit of $50 for overages, while the Infinite1000 plan has a credit limit of $80.

You can expect to receive your monthly bill around the 5th of each month. We offer flexibility in how you receive your bill: you can choose to have it delivered electronically via email or as a physical copy through the mail. You can also view your outstanding bill and make payments via the myALIV app.

You can monitor your data usage through the myALIV app as shown below:

 

• Sign in to the myALIV app using your login credentials.
• Tap the menu icon in the top left corner of the screen to open the main menu.
• From the main menu, select the bell icon to access additional options.
• Choose "Usage Detail" from the list that appears.
• Select your desired dates to view the usage details.

 

 

 

Alternatively, you can easily monitor your data usage directly from the main page of the app through the main data bucket circle. Here's how:

 

• Sign in to the myALIV app using your login credentials.
• On the app's main page, locate the data bucket circle, which displays your current data usage for your ALIV Wireless plan.

This indicates a system error. Try unplugging the gateway and plugging it back in. If that doesn’t work, hold the reset button for 30 seconds.

This indicates that the system is off or has no power supply. Ensure that the gateway is plugged in. If it is plugged in and still does not work, ensure that the outlet has power by plugging in another device such as a lamp.

This indicates that no internet connection is available. Try unplugging the gateway and plugging it back in. If this doesn't work, there could be a problem with the SIM card or plan.

This indicates that the equipment firmware is upgrading. Do not interrupt this process and allow the upgrade to be completed. If this goes on for more than one day, the device may need to be replaced.

If the first white bar is blinking for more than a minute, it means the indoor unit cannot detect the outdoor unit. This could be due to a break in the line or that the outdoor unit itself is damaged and is unable to send a signal back to the indoor unit.

Yes, if you would like to, you can connect your laptop directly to the yellow LAN port located at the back of your indoor device using an ethernet cable for a direct source of internet. Do not connect any laptops to the red port as this port is used to power the outdoor device. This port has a high voltage which could destroy your laptop.
