Our Roam Free program, allows roaming units to be shared between local usage and while traveling in the United States and Canada.
Example:
Liberty Prime has 15 GB (data roam free), 800 (roam mins free), 800 (roam text free) (Fair Use Policy applies)
If you use 10 GB locally of your 15GB (data roam free)when you travel to the United States and/or Canada, you will have 5GB remaining.
If you use all of your roam-free units and continue to use the service, you will be charged based on consumption against your credit limit. This feature can be used while visiting the United States and Canada only.
If you exceed your roam-free allotment and continue to use roaming services, usage will be billed against your credit limit. To view your credit limit, login into the myALIV App or contact us at 242-820-ROAM/ 7626 or customercare@bealiv.com.
For Postpaid Consumer yes, these default credit limits can be adjusted based on your needs, with the understanding that you will be charged if you exceed them.
Each postpaid consumer plan includes credit limits that can be used locally and globally. These limits include:
- International Roaming Limits ( this can be used for globally for Data, SMS and/or Voice )
- International Voice Limits ( this can be used locally for voice calls made to persons outside The United States and Canada ).
- Local Voice, Local Data, and Local Text Limit ( If you go over any of your regular plan units, either of these limits can be used locally until the new month begins ).
REMINDER: To avoid additional data charges when visiting the United States, Canada, and Digicel Caribbean Countries, customers can add a roaming add-on to their plan.
If you are a postpaid consumer client, you do not have a wallet. Instead, your plan includes a default credit limit that can be used both locally and globally if you exhaust your plan's units, roaming, and or need to make a call outside of the United States and Canada.
Our specific postpaid consumer plans (Liberty Prime, Premium and Elite) contain the roam free feature which allow persons who are in the U.S, and Canada to use the said services.
If you are traveling to any one of the countries within the Digicel Caribbean Market, we suggest that you purchase a postpaid roaming add-on. This plan is for data only. Or you can use the international Roaming credit limit for Data, SMS, and Voice.
If you will use the International Roaming credit limit, we strongly recommend you view the postpaid roaming rates page to apply the correct amount.
