“Refer A Friend” Terms and Conditions

(1)    The “Refer a Friend” Promotion (“The Promotion”) is organized and hosted by Be Aliv Limited. 

(2)    The Promotion is open to current ALIV postpaid subscribers 

(3)    The Promotion starts at 12:00 a.m. August 1, 2018 and ends 11:59 p.m. December 31, 2019. Be Aliv Limited reserves the right to change or end the Promotion at any time. (“Promotion Period”)

(4)    ALIV subscribers refer a family member or friend and the ALIV subscriber claims the referral starting 12:00 a.m. August 1, 2018 and here is how it will work: 
•    All you need to do is sign up for the Aliv Refer a Friend program by providing your name, a valid email address, your Aliv mobile number and accepting the program Terms & Conditions;
•    If you are planning to become an Aliv customer because your family member or friend told you about us, make sure you claim your referral offer, activate your Aliv phone and return to the referral site to provide us with your new Aliv mobile number to earn your reward.

(5)     The promotion is valid at any ALIV flagship location only.

Rules for Referrers (Existing ALIV subscribers):
   1)    Current ALIV Subscriber must sign up for the referral program by providing your name, a valid email address, your Aliv mobile number and accept the program’s terms and conditions.
   2)    You agree to only refer friends or family whom you have personal relationships with. You cannot refer yourself.
   3)    A referred customer can only accept one referral. You cannot earn a reward for referring someone who has already claimed a referral offer from someone else.

Rules for Referees (New ALIV subscribers):
   1)    The new friend or family member can only accept a referral from one current Aliv customer i.e., you cannot accept a referral from more than one person.
   2)    Claim your Aliv Refer a Friend Program offer with your name and email address.
   3)    You must agree to accept program emails and accept the Program Terms & Conditions when claiming your offer.
   4)    You must provide us with your new Aliv mobile number after you have activated your phone with Aliv. 
   5)    You cannot earn a reward for referring someone who has already claimed a referral offer from someone else.

Referral Period Rules:
   1)    The friend or family member must claim their referral offer within 15 days of receiving the referral invitation message, if not they will not receive their offer and the ALIV subscriber will not receive the reward.
   2)    Friend or family member must remain on the network actively in good standing (with an active plan) for at least 45 days after activation for both ALIV subscribers to receive their rewards.
   3)    The family or friend must have been an ALIV subscriber for less than five (5) days prior to claiming the referral offer and have an active plan.
   4)    Credit will be added to the subscribers’ ALIV wallet or a credit adjustment will be applied to your postpaid monthly account billing notice for both parties, subject to accounts not receiving any monthly access discounts that are activated within 15 days of receiving referral and remaining active and in good standing for at least 45 days.


(6)    Corporate customers, ALIV employees and partner affiliates are not eligible. 

(7)    A maximum of $300 in rewards can be earned for successful referrals, per calendar year.

(8)    The BTC sim that is porting must have a minimum 6 weeks credit history and have shown activity throughout this period.

(9)    The credit adjustment that are applied (where applicable) to the customer’s wallet or postpaid account respectively, are non-transferable.

(10)    Referral activations and rewards are counted on the last day of the calendar month, and then paid accordingly (i.e. cashback applied to wallet or credit adjustment to postpaid account after 45 days of active service in good standing)

(11)    ALIV’s decision in all matters relating to the Promotion is final.

(12)    Users’ personal data will be collected, stored and processed for the purposes of administering and assessing the Promotion. Aliv will comply with all requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998.

(13)    Aliv reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the promotion and/or review and revise these terms and conditions at any time without giving prior notice and by continuing to take part in the promotion subsequent to any revision of these terms and conditions, Users shall be deemed to have agreed to any such new or amended terms.

(14)    The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Twitter or Facebook or any other form of social media. By entering this Promotion, Users are providing information to Aliv and not to Twitter or Facebook and agree to release Twitter and Facebook from any liability associated with the Promotion."

(15)    By participating in the Promotion, all participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

(16)    Terms and Conditions apply to ALL participants.
